The wood-beamed ceilings continue into the bedrooms, which overlook the quiet yard. New carpeting adds a fresh feeling to the spaces.
In the master suite, there’s an Ipe accent wall behind the bed and the large-format porcelain tile on the floor, and the homeowners relish the preserved trees. “One of my favorite details is that when we wake up in the morning, we’ve got this gorgeous Banyan tree outside with orchids blooming like crazy around the trunk,” says Goldstein. “Just waking up to that is spectacular.”
The King Desaspada Hebpurn bed from UrbanSpace Interiors features two zodiac pillows from Marfa—a Gemini for him and a Scorpio for her. The side tables are also from UrbanSpace Interiors. The pendant in blackened brass is from Allied Maker, and the rug is a vintage Herki Runner from Black Sheep Unique.
The master bedroom features sliding glass doors which provide direct access to the backyard pool.
In total, the home features six bedrooms, including a master suite which leads to a rounded writer's nook and private balcony.

The bedroom maintains the simple palette with windows fabricated by the homeowner and Brazilian walnut flooring.
The house has three bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, plus a powder room.
The serene master bedroom has a strong indoor/outdoor connection.

“We select mattresses based on the research of sleep and posture, provide towels with a soft feeling of textile, and arrange lighting devices which induce natural and high-quality sleep,” says the brand.

Every room uses a mix of natural materials and textures to help bring the outside in.
This custom glass structure by Ilex Construction allows for an abundance of light during the day. At night, Lightolier fixtures on the ceiling illuminate the Ella bed. Sherwin-Williams “Pure White” was painted on all interior walls.
This master suite has a dressing room, a dreamy walk-in closet, and an extra-large ensuite bathroom. Two massive white pendants add textured, visual interest and soft lighting throughout.
The popcorn ceiling was replaced, textured, and painted while new base boards and crown moulding were put in. New paint, windows, and carpet modernize the room.
The new master bedroom is a mix of subtle colors, natural linens, wood textures, and curated artwork.
The master suite boasts dual walk-in closets and an elegant ensuite bathroom.
This bedroom has a king bed, blackout shades and a white noise machine for the lightest of sleepers to relax.

The Suarezes opted for a cozy bedroom with beautiful details, old and new—lustrous mahogany behind the bed, Baker tables beside it. The long beam overhead replaced the original, but smaller beams above it are authentic.
