Surrounded by glazing on three sides, the Master is a suite above the slopes, surrounded by nature.
Designed for privacy, the master suite features giant sectional sliding doors and windows along with a unique geometric curved layout.

A third module, perpendicular to the main living areas, contains the master bedroom, which is furnished with a bed from Design Within Reach, a rug from Crate and Barrel, and a watercolor by Marfa artist Nick Terry. The saddle leather chair is by local furniture maker Garza Marfa.
An expansive sliding glass door retracts into the zinc facade, opening up the master suite to a garden terrace. This echoes a 15-foot Corian wall that transforms a children's bedroom into an entertainment space, allowing flexibility and anticipating the time when the boys leave for college.

The client, says architect Filipi Oliveira, “wanted everything to communicate without the need for doors in the internal environments.”
The master bedroom is shaded by exterior slats in cumaru, a sustainable tropical wood. Alazraki designed the custom bed frame.
The master bedroom shares in the floor-to-ceiling views, allowing symbiosis with the meadow outside.
