The master bathroom has a bamboo screen and a Deauville tub by Victoria + Albert. A vintage enameled metal sign from the London Underground is framed by the screen and a cactus that sits atop an African stool.
The guest bedroom features a soaking tub with a full-height window overlooking the deck and landscape beyond.
In contrast to the historic setting, the master bathroom is outfitted with modern fixtures including a double vanity, freestanding tub, shower and toilet.
The smart design includes options like mobile-powered locks, security cameras connected to the owner’s mobile device, and a water control management system.
"Historically, this topmost room would have housed the silk weavers' rooms, but the room is now Zen, one where you might relax into a freestanding tub or sink into a bed of plumped up pillows," says Eayrs.
Even the bathroom offers access to the outdoors.
The use of walnut, red concrete, and reinforced concrete remains consistent throughout the master bath.

The interiors consist of a large living room and kitchen, along with seven other rooms, four of which are designated as bedrooms. Here is a closer look at one of the bathrooms.
A family room is housed on the lower level. This space also contains additional bedrooms and baths.
"When this building was constructed the toilets would have been outside. In our previous place we had a tiny shower in a tiny bathroom that you could barely stretch your arms out in, so we moved here knowing we wanted to make the bathroom something special. We planned this grand freestanding bathtub-and-sink unit with the same materials as the kitchen - plywood and slate."
The ensuite bathroom in the master has a dual vanity and a vintage claw-foot tub installed in the open shower.

Copper, timber and marble accents add a luxurious touch to the bathrooms.
The oversized custom made concrete trough sink sits on a bronze base with a beautiful patina, industrial coper piping and taps.  The mirror, which is suspended from the ceiling by braided leather straps,  was manufactured by PSS Design Cult. An xl oval NativeStone bathtub.

A large, wood framed skylight fills the master bath with daylight.  A Frank Lloyd Wright inspired shower curtain accents the remodeled bath.
In the master bathroom, a BainUltra Essencia freestanding tub with an Axor Starck filler offers a perch for the couple’s granddaughter Arabella and her cousin Alexandra. The built-in vanity is made of the same ApplePly material as the kitchen cabinetry.
A split monolithic form gives this modern residence its name—Two Halves House. Distinguished by two pavilions that appear to stand apart at first sight—but are in fact connected—Two Halves House was designed with three requirements in mind. The homeowners wanted a high bush fire safety rating and a relaxed kitchen and living space for entertaining. Plus, they wanted to maximize the sloping site and the south-facing views.
In the master bath, a custom raised Silestone sink is surrounded by a teak countertop and Porcelanosa glass tiles. Teak slats anchor the glass-enclosed shower.

“The old living room and balcony on the sixth floor were transformed into the master bedroom with an en-suite open bathroom,” Hammer said. Flos lighting illuminates the space above the vanity.
