  • Architecture is an expression of values – Norman Foster

Driven by that principle, we were both excited and grateful to have the opportunity to provide a modern design home for sale in the oldest and most historic neighborhood of Richmond VA. At the core of this project was the commonly accepted value of architecture that; attempting to replicate historic buildings only reduces the authenticity of the neighborhood.

Rather than trying to recreate the historic look of much older homes found in the neighborhood, the goal was to pay homage to the genius and creativity of those who came before, while also placing a modern timestamp on the home. To accomplish this, 3307 M maintains the overall proportions, scale and massing found in the properties surrounding the house; but it also differentiates itself visually with the use of modern design elements such as oversized windows, eco-friendly siding products, clean lines and natural cedar accents.

3307 M - in a nutshell - modern low-maintenance living purposefully designed for life in today's Church Hill.
