This apartment by AIYA Bureau is defined by a quiet sense of artistry and balance. Designed for a family with two children, it unites spatial clarity with emotional warmth. A refined palette of plum, terracotta, and gold evolves with the light, revealing the tactility of natural wood, stone, and soft fabrics.
The floorplan follows a fluid, intuitive logic. At its centre, an open-plan living and kitchen area becomes the heart of family life and serves for gathering and reflection. The master suite, with its walk-in wardrobe and bathroom, offers privacy and calm, while the children’s rooms on the opposite side form a playful, self-contained world.
The entrance hall sets the tone with deep green lacquer, warm burgundy, and soft lighting that evoke depth and intimacy. In the living area, Japanese-inspired panels frame a composition of mauve upholstery, marble, and wood, while the stone-clad kitchen niche turns everyday function into a crafted object. A Minotti sofa, Flou armchair, Meridiani dining table, and terracotta Baxter chairs form a cohesive ensemble – pieces that complement one another in proportion, texture, and tone, creating an interior that is both functional and aesthetically refined. It is complemented by an unusual art by Tina Scepanovic in the dining area.
In the master bedroom, hand-painted wall panel, layered textures, and gentle asymmetry create a serene yet expressive environment. Carefully selected furniture and lighting - a bed and bedside tables by Baxter, a table by Christiane Lemieux, an upholstered B&B Italia chair, Barovier & Toso bedside table lamp and Apparatus pendant lamp on the other side - make the space meaningful as well as comfortable. The adjoining bathroom, finished in warm stone and anchored by a sculptural Agape bathtub, continues this dialogue of natural calm.
Every detail in the apartment reflects the AIYA Bureau’s approach. The interior speaks quietly, combining craftsmanship, emotion, and a sense of enduring modern elegance.
