ODYL has turned off-grid, remote living into an elegant experience, as showcased by their holiday house in an idyllic location in Põlvamaa, South of Estonia.
The house has a sleek design, which beautifully combines glass panels with premium quality glulam and cross-laminated timber elements. Light comes in abundance from the front and the sides of the living room and there is a feel of great space and comfort across the 60m2 (645.8 sq ft) one-bedroom house, which includes a 13.4m2 (144.2 sq ft) loft.
Every detail in the house has been carefully planned: from hidden rain gutters to solid wooden dropdown doors and much more. When the night comes down, the house glows magnificently through a system of interior and exterior LED lights which add a special feel to the house.
The house has one bedroom with a king-size bed and it's ideal for a couple. However, the loft is equipped with two additional individual mattresses and there is a convertible couch in the living room.
House facilities include a flyover terrace with a grill and a stunning view to a pristine pond, which streams from the calm waters of Võhandu river and where guests can swim. There is also a hot tub and an outdoors wooden gym. In addition, there are many activities available, such as hiking, canoeing, paddleboarding, wild mushroom picking during the season and skiing in the wintertime. Even yoga instructors are facilitated for visitors!
ODYL house guests usually feature digital nomads and creators, off-grid living enthusiasts as well as ODYL's potential clients who would like to experience the quality of the showcase house before buying it for their own off-grid plots.
