The Mitz is an experience tucked within a renovated historic Chicago municipal bath house built in 1918. Searl Lamaster Howe architects renovated the entire building in 2014 to allow for the unique space to have utility again as a meeting place, as it once was. It's completely private, entirely outfitted with concierge, AV, conference utility and all that you would need to host a successful board retreat, dinner, meetings, off-site or learning experience. The kitchen is a chef's kitchen that suits tastings, and takes advantage of our excellent restaurant chef-led catering offers. The adjoining yard is a full city lot designed to please small to medium size group events.
The room itself is 55' x 25' with 16.5" ceilings. One wall is bare and suitable for post-it note sessions galore. The other features 55' of windows enabling a sunny, warm vibe perfect to encourage those global road warrior to stay alert!
Come for the beauty of the space, stay for the art and food and return for the hospitality.
There's nothing else like it in the city! The space also features two super modern, rentable apartments for on-site stays should that be of interest! Inquire for links.
