We wanted to build a home that we could retire in, but also use as a holiday destination for our children and their families to visit in years to come. We designed the house to ensure our private space upstairs and allow the family or visitors to be able to utilize the spaces downstairs

The use of natural timber was important to incorporate into the design and we are thrilled with the floating staircase and other timber features. We wanted to use modern materials and incorporate the recycled brick and block work, and were provided with great advice and workmanship

Our vision of an entertaining space where friends and family come together, that would incorporate the inside and outdoors has been achieved with the glass doors and window showcasing the continuation of the kitchen outside onto the deck.

The kitchen and cabinetry were designed to achieve a minimalist style and provide maximum storage in a practical and functional manner. We had excellent design advice and workmanship and the caesar stone bench-tops are a feature.

Harris build was our choice of builder because of their enthusiasm for a design incorporating new and modern materials, as well as their excellent workmanship and attention to detail.

We are very excited to have achieved a home that has met all of our requirements and more.
