Set against lush pastures among willow trees, this cozy modern cabin rental was designed by architect Peter Grundmann. The distressed clapboard structure is a simple box design with large pop out cubes of glass with panoramic views of the wilderness. The polished concrete floors and sharp modern lines give it a contemporary feel with a bright open plan, all-in-one living space that includes a sleeping cube for two and fireside lounge and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen.
The property includes several other accommodations including additional cabins, a modern loft and a small shop where you’ll find delicious local cheeses and wines, homemade local delicacies and the seasonal bounty from the organic gardens.
The barn serves as the property’s multifunctional common lounge and there’s a self contained sauna to warm your bones as well as an outdoor hot-tub under the stars. Surrounded by ancient orchards, gardens and several terraces and fireplaces, the property is an expansive outdoor lounge where you can rediscover the simplicity of life and the history and beauty of the region.
