A Memorable Forever Home Remodel in Lake Forest Park

This remodel comes to us from Emily Ruff of Seattle-based Cohesively Curated Interiors. Her clients were looking to create a forever home where they could grow their family, entertain and enjoy the comforts of Pacific Northwest living for many years to come. The clients had just moved from Seattle to Lake Forest Park in 2021, and this 2015 construction served as the perfect blank slate to create the home of their dreams. The original home was dark and dated in feel, and so the couple enlisted Ruff and her firm, Cohesively Curated Interiors, to bring their vision of a clean and updated yet personality-filled space to life. The result is a mid-century, modern farmhouse style home with coastal meets grand-millennial touches. This remodel consisted of major architectural and floor plan changes, space planning, carefully chosen finishes and fixtures, and performance furnishings built for high-traffic areas such as the kitchen, living, dining, powder bath, and primary bedroom.
