It's hard to appreciate from this beautiful nighttime photo how difficult it was to reach this site for construction. On the far side of a right-away and inaccessible by a backhoe or cement truck, the builders had to cart materials using a wheelbarrow. Additionally, the original footings were inadequate to support the new structure. MARK IV Builders dug 8 feet deep to give the new footings good bearing.
