In downtown Jersey City lies a soaring hire-rise with a modern exterior, including one tricked-out bachelor pad that beautifully blends form and function. With approximately 1,200 square feet, this luxury apartment complex, Soho Lofts, offers gorgeous views of the New York City skyline. Boasting a sleek and industrial interior color palette, Jaclyn Isaac of Doni Douglas Designs renovated the master bedroom, entryway, office, living room, and dining room. Her bachelor client was newly dating and craved a female touch to soften up his space. He wanted interesting pieces that were not only impressive but also functional, so he could take most with him since he moved often. Isaac played up masculine details such as wood, steel, and stone, punched the place up with graphic art, a sleek bar cart, and unique execution of paint. Although the client is a very fast-paced entrepreneur with zero time for design he still has an appreciation for beautiful home accents and interior design. Isaac’s goal was to build a space that was both visually impressive and fun, for friends and his future fiance to come home to.
