The homeowners invited me in to help them remodel a beloved home they'd built 20 + years prior. In particular, they wanted a kitchen that would work well for Lisa and her two daughters who loved to spend time baking together. We enclosed part of an exterior porch to make the room more "square," opened up the doorway to the dining area to tie those spaces together, added a folding exterior door to the deck to make socializing easier, and redirected traffic in other areas of the room. Rustic beams, more thoughtful space planning and dedicated activity centers make the kitchen perfect for baking, or entertaining a crowd.
