The main feature of the project is it's location in the heart of Heredia's beautifully rich mountain landscape, so our main goal at the moment of conceptualization was to exploit the view from every single room inside the residence and make use of the benefits that the concept would give us such as a big source of natural lightning. We like to work with organic textures like wood and concrete, the last one highlighting the manual labor of the team that made possible it's construction by the careful use of metallic and wooden molds through which we were able to capture different textures in the concrete on the ceilings, floors and walls. Water, as a purifying and contemplative element was embodied through a water mirror in the garden on the residence's entrance. The high walls and ceilings in the project favor a free moving ventilation and allow a better appreciation of the design details from different angles.
