The room behind was originally a carport and is now used as the master bedroom. This patio had industrial white glazed tile which was jackhammered out to reveal terrazzo. This area was at an earlier stage interior to a larger home. The roof line was left "raw." The roof was fixed and resealed for water catchment, draining to below the house into a cistern.
