Beaver Creek cabin is a vacation rental in south Tillamook county, near the Oregon coast. It's about 20 minutes from Pacific City, 15 minutes from Tillamook, 1 1/2 hours from Portland, but only 10 minutes away from gas and cookies. Even better than staying in a cramped neighborhood at the beach, it's a quick drive to anything that you'd want to do at the coast, but is nestled at the edge of the woods, on a 7 acre lot full of trails and trees.

Embracing simplicity as luxury, the cabin has a large open main space with a modern kitchen, heated concrete floors, a propane fireplace, and plenty of chairs and coffee cups to go around. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom, wifi, a smart tv, a corkscrew or two, and a slingshot.

The cabin can sleep five if you put someone on the couch (sorry, the loft spaces are off limits for rentals), thus it's ideal for families or a couple or two, with or without kids and a well-behaved dog. There's also a fire pit outside, a vintage soaking tub in a private nook in the woods, and a couple of good tent sites on hand for those looking to re-connect with the joys of sticks and stars.
