Beach Cobbler: A modern beach house on the North Carolina coast

Located in Surf City, North Carolina on Topsail Island stands "Beach Cobbler", a coastal home featuring waterfront views, modern interiors, and thoughtful design. Built on a long-held family property, the homeowners replaced the former house which had been flooded by hurricanes multiple times and created a simple yet strong structure, elevated above the elements. Through the use of large-scale windows, folding walls, and versatile furniture, this simple space can open up and accommodate family and friends in a comfortable way. With a natural interior palette and a mix of classic and new modern furniture, the casual and inviting aesthetic elevates the typical beach house interiors and leads the eye outside to the beauty of the Topsail Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.
