Pavilions and Installations at Dwell on Design 2014
On the show floor at Dwell on Design in Los Angeles, Dwell-curated pavilions, design schools, and museums displayed exciting new work. Click through the slideshow for the highlights.
At the pavilion devoted to Design for Humankind, innovative products emphasized an expanded notion of design for all populations. Moen's Folding Teak Shower Seat and OXO's Good Grips Salad Spinner and Indoor Pour & Store Water Can caught attendees' eyes, along with photographs of Dwell-featured homes such as Orchard House in Sebastopol, California.
The Woodbury University Hollywood Outpost (WUHO) has a pop-up installation in the Design For Tomorrow pavilion, which features student work. WUHO showcased faculty, alumni, and student work from the Woodbury School of Architecture, including Somewhere Something by Jason King with Justin Owens and Robert Mehring.
