I'm desperate for some advice on where I can take an iconic 1970s solid mahogany Poggenpohl kitchen. We're performing a full restoration a period Terraced house in Tunbridge Wells to it's Georgian origins and the kitchen currently fitted isn't staying. However, we've been informed by a number of knowledgeable contacts that it's an iconic kitchen that would be a real shame to destroy.
The kitchen, although relatively small (perfect for a flat... nudge nudge), is in very good (even excellent) condition for it's age and is exactly the same one as the owner of the SCP design store in London, Sheridan Coakley has in his house (we saw in an article from this website linked below).
We don't know who to give it to or where to sell it and desperately don't want to destroy the kitchen if it's as iconic as we're told.
