Graphic and information designer José Guízar, a New York transplant by way of Mexico, started The Windows of New York, a weekly illustrated series about, yes, the windows of New York. Part ode to architecture and part "self-challenge to never stop looking up," Guizar translates the city's fenestration into simple, charming works of art. From SoHo to the Upper East Side, click through the slideshow to see the rest of the windows.
