Casa Cantellano sits on a corner lot in a suburban development outside of Mexico City.

Visitors enter the tea house though a hutong, the narrow street for which these historic neighborhoods are named.

Residents enter the house from the street through the upper level, which contains the bedrooms. The rafters were removed to create additional loft space.
