The outdoor landscape of this architecture office was designed to reflect the culture of the firm. Dogs are welcome at work, so a dog relief area was created on the far end of the building. The rooftop was renovated to include planters and a variety of plant materials, along with large solar panels to provide shade and energy. In-office daycare is provided, so the roof also includes a playset and synthetic turf, giving children a safe place to ride bikes. The original concrete elements were replaced with plant beds and wood was introduced throughout to give warmth to the brick.
