The butler’s pantry is a transitional space between the kitchen and the formal dining room, "a shift," as Suzanne calls it. To denote this, cabinets were painted in Farrow & Ball’s Charleston Gray, while the countertop and backsplash are a 3cm "Prada Suede" quartzite, chosen for its striking veining.

Previously, this quirky space had a pantry, broom closet, and doors leading to the basement. Now, this niche houses a butler's pantry with a custom dry bar, wine fridge, and storage cabinets awash in Farrow & Ball Studio Green with a Soapstone countertop.

A niche was built out for the wall ovens and a coffee counter.

The kitchen coffee bar was a must-have for Joel. The bright white subway tile backsplash and the white cabinetry give the skoolie a fresh, open feeling.

Modern kitchen includes triple-bay sink, gas range, and hidden storage.

The kitchen is outfitted with Akurum cabinets from Ikea. The island is also an Ikea cabinet, customized with maple panels to match the flooring.

The overhanging brass lights add a warm glow to the space, which nicely complements the cool pink and blue tones seen throughout the house.

The renovation opened up the original galley kitchen. A tucked-away screen can close off the kitchen as needed, while the breakfast bar provides a casual spot to eat and additional prep space.

The open kitchen is equipped with plenty of flexible cabinet space, open shelving, and built-in wine storage.
