The home's decks and open interiors are ideal for hosting. Additionally, they enable ample cross-ventilation in summer. The fireplace is a Scan DSA 5 from Krog, Iversen & Co., the sofa is a EQ3 Morten Sectional, and the ARC floor lamp is from Structube.

In winter months, the concrete floors act a thermal mass, absorbing the sunlight and slowly radiating warmth day and night. Bertoia Bar Stools from Knoll flank the island, which is raw edge maple. The backsplash is Little Diamond tiles in turquoise from Heath Ceramics. Claylight pendants from Lightexture hang overhead and the rangehood is from GE.
