A favorite hangout of legendary singer and comedian Dean Martin is once again back on the market in Palm Springs. Built in 1954, the classic midcentury home was both an entertaining hub for Old Hollywood stars and a family escape for Martin and his wife, Jeanne, who were friends of the home's original owners. It was here the two couples often hosted Sunday afternoon 'tea dances,' with Martin spending much of his time at these events singing for guests and friends.

Known as the "Tea Dance House" in Martin's era, the 2,800-square-foot residence retains pieces of its iconic past, even after trading hands several times over the years. Most notably, the pearly white baby grand piano that Martin gifted his owner friends remains in the home today. Other finishes in and around the property have been modernized since Martin's last visit, yet the home's readiness for entertaining is still apparent.

The whitewashed interior provides a backdrop for the home's current furnishings of contemporary artwork and classic pieces by the 20th-century designers Milo Baughman and Mies Van der Rohe. First put up for sale in 2018 with a price tag of $1.8M, the original listing also included much of the furniture and Martin's baby grand piano.
