A modular wall system keeps everything organized, while a warm-toned Nugget seating system adds both function and a playful pop of color to the space.

A swooping Kagan sofa found locally sits with a curving screen from MOLO Designs and a Jonathan Adler cabinet.

Adair and Kopp commissioned the metal fabricator who did the railings to create the monkey-bar rungs that line the hallway, powder-coated in seafoam green. Rings can attach to the monkey bars to give the boys a different type of challenge.

A custom door fabricated by Maple Key with Weitzner wallcovering now tucks behind the closet storage. A natural stone slab tops the custom oak vanity, and the floor tile is by Fireclay.

After: The living room overlooks the great room below. Now when you walk in the house, you can see clear out to the trees in the back—an idea sparked by an interior designer friend who commented that the most important aspect of a design is what you see when you walk in the front door.
