The living room features a built-in sofa with drawers for additional storage, custom-made by Trio Upholstery. The bleached red oak storage cabinets were made by L&Z Specialties, Inc. to match the kitchen cabinets. The wall sconce is from Serge Mouille.
To save money, the team sourced IKEA cabinet bodies for the kitchen and den, and then built and assembled them on-site.

Horner replaced the dysfunctional, closed storage with custom, open shelving that now connects the kitchen to the entry, increasing natural light and sightlines around the house.

Wylie’s bedroom features a rug from the Land of Nod and a sign from a local shop. “I put the shelves up myself on my seventh attempt,” Lena says. “If I move them, I guarantee you’ll see nineteen holes.”
The Anonymous office on the third floor holds a display of Storey’s beloved hand-made basswood and foam-core models.
