Located in the Natural Reserve of Mashpi, the spa project arises from the client's need to create a separate space for the hotel to operate the whirlpool area (Stage 1) and two massage rooms + rest rooms (Stage 2) that They worked inside the Hotel. Subsequently a thermal pool is integrated. (Step 3). The hydromassage area, bathrooms, rest areas and a covered terrace will be built in a first stage to be used to teach yoga classes.
To relate to a natural environment of indescribable beauty and to the existing construction are two themes that motivate the architectural proposal; how to integrate architecture to nature is a recurring theme in the work of the architect, so quickly the idea is taking shape; adopting a strategy that does not compete with the magic of the natural environment and which recognizes the existing project define the architectural parti.

Working with transparency, the presence of the architectural object in the forest, the materiality and defining a constructive system with little invasiveness to the environment are the strategies that are used to develop the project.

The metallic structure, the minimum use of cast concrete in place, the facade from a system of metal framing and tol plates of 6mm to solve the envelope, the lattices and linings of engineered, laminated and treated wood allow to obtain a materiality that , without competing, is integrated with the forest and landscape.
