An artist and an architect built their home, studios, and an exhibition space inside a lushly landscaped Antwerp warehouse.

With the home being located just minutes from the beach, the outdoor shower from Kohler's Purist collection is a perfect spot to rinse off after excursions.

The bathroom features a simple, organic design and integrates a sense of the outdoors with bamboo, which is used to provide an open, yet private feel.

The double vanity in the master bath has a concrete trough sink with a wood slab counter.

The white countertops are made from concrete and the wooden cabinets have been painted a subtle shade of sage. The floors are white oak hardwood.

The patio furniture is from CB2.

To add natural vibrancy and variable depths of color, ModOp Design used tile selections from Heath Ceramics' Modern Basics line for the kitchen backsplash and all bathroom tiles in this Los Angeles renovation.

Each of the smaller pavilions is nestled in the landscape of native vegetation and set along a path connected by stepping stones made of cut tree trunks.

Wildlife are frequent visitors here, but the area’s active woodpeckers aren’t very welcome, so the house is clad in corrugated metal siding by Recla Metals.
