A rough-sawn beam and old pipes create support and structure in the interior of Schoolhouse Electric.
Lamps and an old create make for a stunning living room piece.
An issue of Kinfolk and some succulents sit atop a reclaimed wood table.
Succulents and books adorn a coffee table with light flooding in.
The "Keep Door Shut" sign on a galvanized metal door resembles something you would expect to see in a nuclear bunker or on an episode of LOST.
Black and white area rug creates beautiful texture and offsets the warmth of reclaimed wood flooring.
I love this poster at Schoolhouse Electric. The phrase "Want Better Not More!" is a clarion call to not be caught up with consumerism but to seek betterment in all we do. This takes humility, embracing our limits, and truly want to bring something better into this world.
This shot of the "Ask More Questions" poster represents curiosity, which is at the heart of the creative process, and is also more personal for me. I've always been curious and asked lots of questions. This artifact reminds me of that.
Schoolhouse Electric is known for their vintage lighting and home products. I love the warmth and emotion in this picture.
