Located in Sonoma County, California, this 2546 square-foot prefabricated home features a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean made possible by the round shape and expansive windows throughout the first and second floor. The open-to-below feature between the two floors further enhances the view.
“We were originally drawn to Deltec for the unique round design that would take advantage of the view, as well as the flexibility to design an open floor plan. But we also appreciated the quality of materials used and the focus on sustainability, efficiency and reduced waste with the panelized construction,” said the homeowner.
Each wall panel, roof truss and floor truss were prefabricated in Deltec's factory located in Asheville, NC, shipped to the jobsite and assembled onsite. This allows for much more precise construction, an air-tight building envelope and an average of 80% less construction waste than traditional building. Since Deltec Homes started in 1968, they have over 5000 homes worldwide.

Because of Deltec Homes' self-supported roof system, there are no load bearing interior walls. Therefore, the floorplan possibilities are limitless.
