Remnants of History: Inside San Francisco's Pier 70 Project

The Dog Patch neighborhood holds unique architectural significance in San Francisco, buildings constructed in the 1800's and 1900's still standing, the steel frames still boasting of its former shipyards and mills, warehouses and factories, the glory days of gritty-hard, proud working families. I capture intimate moments, paying homage to remnants of the past and what will be the new Pier 70 Shipyards, in its phases of commercial renovation. As I work with the Developers in photographing the interiors of 8 buildings, all of which are in their phases of careful deconstruction, new construction and preservation, I will continue to add to this project.
