Tucked into a quiet corner of the ensuite, the soaker tub offers a serene view of the wooded property beyond. Framed by natural light and thoughtfully placed for both privacy and calm, it’s a cozy, restorative spot designed for slow mornings and unwinding evenings.

For the kitchen, master bath, and kids’ bathroom, the designers chose three different hues of Savoy stacked mosaic tile from Portland-based manufacturer Ann Sacks. Tractor barstools by BassamFellows pull up to a PentalQuartz countertop. The gas cooktop, oven, and dishwasher are by Miele.

The master suite opens to a bathroom with soaking tubs that overlook south-facing views.

A custom vanity topped with marble floats against a wall clad in Fireclay Tile. The mirrors are by Wayfair and the sconces from Allied Maker.

The bathroom features a Brizo Odin shower system and California Faucets. Object & Light pendants hang over the vanity cabinet, and the cabinet drawers are fitted with Made Measure leather tabs.

Visual Comfort & Co. sconces add playfulness to the master bath that's fitted with a custom vanity with Pental Surfaces quartz countertops.

Floating Bathroom Vanity

The master bathroom features terrazzo-tiled walls and joinery made from solid surface and solid timber. Bathroom fittings are from Gessi.

In the main bath, Arto tile from Tempest Tileworks in turquoise was combined with Benjamin Moore paint in the color Boca Raton.

A terrazzo tile backsplash provides a lightly textured backdrop for the brass faucet and warm wood cabinetry.

Cheng specified brass schluter inlay between the terrazzo tiles at the floor. "These are installed in an offset Y pattern, which is the first letter of their last name," says the designer.

Cover Architecture and EEK Studio designed the custom vanity, which was fabricated by Hardwood Habitat. The wood door conceals the toilet room, while a pocket door separates the bathroom from the bedroom. The terrazzo floor tile is from Cle Tile.

The couple found gray plaster walls beneath the wallpaper and decided to preserve their natural texture. “That was a pleasant surprise,” Rachel says. “We can’t take credit.”
