Exposed brick and bluestone in the second-level bathroom.

In the powder room is an American Standard “Regency Blue” wall-mount sink found at a salvage yard. Janusz color-matched paint for the powder room.

In the first-floor bathroom, the mermaid backsplash Caleb carved plays off the Hygge & West “Mermaid” wallpaper.

The home’s single bathroom contains a vanity and mirror fabricated from old-growth redwood. The sink is cast concrete, and the faucet is from California Faucets. The inset wall shelf features a Japanese gouge texture done by Nick.

Eric added a skylight and new wood in a chevron pattern to the ceiling. The green concrete sink is from Concretti Designs and the floors are Kayan river pebble mosaic by Pebblino Mosaici. April stripped and sanded down a kitchen cabinet for storage, and added plaid wallpaper to the interior.

A 2024 remodel of the home by LAMAS Architecture kept the exterior of the historic farmhouse much the same.

The powder room has the aqua marine sink salvaged from the house’s previous iteration, paired with a Hang 1 Drop Mirror from Blu Dot and a vintage sconce.

Grey describes the patina process for the faucet and shower fixtures: “You get unfinished or un-lacquered brass, and then you boil vinegar and dip them in there. Then I put it in a bag with an egg and let it sit out for a couple of weeks. Then I opened it up, which was pretty disgusting, but it did the trick.”

"The bathroom has amazing daylight, which we found to be rare," says Lauren. They added a full vanity to better service guests, rebuilt the walk-in shower, and added a laundry area and additional storage. Black penny tile flooring echoes black hardware.

The guest bath features punchy Clé tile flooring and a mirror and sconce from Schoolhouse Electric.

The pine vanity and storage in the bathroom displays the wood's natural grain, lending interest and pattern.

For the bathroom, local studio Dusty Whipple Designs created a custom concrete sink. It sits within waterproof tadelakt plaster walls that run into the shower and around the room.

The large bathroom features an open shower, a large window, and a combustion toilet.
