In the living room, the team raised the firebox, cladded the hearth in a tactile plaster finish, and installed a floating limestone bench that wraps the column. On the left (unseen) is integrated firewood storage, and a cozy reading nook sits on the right. "The bench was designed to be used as a social space/lounge, and is well-used," says Coffey. The wood beams and red brick were scraped and stripped many times to remove the silver paint and reclaim a natural state.

Poured concrete floors and crisp, white plastered walls have been used to give the interiors a bright and fresh look.

This mini conversation pit is set around a pebble-floored hearth and a steel fireplace. The warm, textured seating area reinforces the fireplace as the central feature of the room.

A cream-colored Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams sectional designates the living area in this open concept, as does a Kochi Pattern rug from the Taj Collection at Area Rug Factory.

The Pavilion has plenty of cozy seating, a cast concrete fireplace, and a sound system.
