Playful Artist-Designed Notebooks
Plumb is a new line of notebooks designed and illustrated by contemporary artists. For the fall 2014 collection, artists Jason Polan, Nathaniel Russell, and Linda Geary created eclectic journals based on their artistic practices. Click through the slideshow to see the playful creations, and then check out other notebooks we love here.
Artist and musician Nathaniel Russell posts drawings, photographs, and other musings on the mundane to his blog, Crooked Arm, and created a series of journals so that you can do the same.
Each of the three Waking Waiting Walking notebooks is bound differently to suit unique purposes, indicated by the whimsical characters embossed on their covers.
Linda Geary is cofounder of the Painting Expanded Symposium, a program that promotes discussions around contemporary painting. Her series of vibrant notebooks aims to continue that conversation.
The Stack Book contains 32 color swatches that formed the basis of one of Geary’s collaborative art projects and encourage you to get creative, too.
