New Yorkers know private outdoor space is a precious commodity, which is why these homeowners decked out their rooftops with cool plants and furniture.
Mojo Stumer Associates Architects and landscape architects Town & Gardens partnered to rejuventate an overlooked outdoor area at a Manhattan penthouse. Their objective was to elevate the terrace to match the inviting, modern interiors.
The couple worked with landscape firm Staghorn Design Studio for the plantings on their rooftop terrace, where an Elan dining table from Design Within Reach.
Pulltab’s ingenious skylit lightwells visible from the terrace Marcovitz and Geiger requested for the newly built-out second-floor roof terrace. The outdoor table is vintage Paul McCobb.
