“Orange Planet" Story.

“Zzo” and “Byeol” from space crashes on planet Earth as their spaceship breaks down. Earth was rather a harsh planet to live in as everything was new to them. Their survival life story in Earth begins in a small-town name Banghwadong. These two alien characters were created by the couple from small talks about their favorite things. ‘Orange Planet’ became the name for this café, and the main keyword for the interior design.

1. Lively pastel colors
2. Playful gestures as if aliens are around

3. Simple yet cozy and warm ambience

"Not so much of a fancy, but a place with the couple’s heart and soul"

Although I had a wistful feeling as I could not fully express due to the limited budget, my heart was swelled with pride when I saw the couple’s genuine, radiant smiles. I could design as I originally planned as there were no big difficulties other than lowering the saturation for orange color which was a bit intense.

Orange Planet resembles the couple. The simple yet friendly and playful gestures are just the perfect image of the two. I encourage and look forward to their adventure on adapting to this new yet enticing planet Earth.
