Design moments throughout the build have fostered even deeper connections by creating activities that incorporate the whole family. Her dad comes over to do his stretches on the climbing wall and Monica and her mom tend to the vegetables and herbs planted in their outdoor space.

AZAB tore down the walls of the 969-square-foot flat using curtains to define and separate the living spaces. They also chose to embrace the unit's gentle curve and incorporate it into their design.
