An Envy II Wall-Faced Suite toilet by Parisi sits in the home’s sole bathroom and Caroma’s Starlett 1850 Island Bath was installed next to the window.

The bathroom features light grey tiles, a shower, sink, and toilet.

A skylight over the shower in the master suite gives a focused view of the sky, referencing the Skyspaces of the installation artist James Turrell.

The Lightbox in Point Roberts, Washington by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson won a 2017 award for its compact size, simple materials, but innovative layout.

Innovative path lighting

The flooring throughout the interior is maple. A vintage Ercol sofa and arm chair, Eclipse coffee table by Stua, Wide Wale rug by Bev Hisey Textile Design, and Moon floor lamp by Estiluz Spain furnish the living room. "Extensive planning went into ‘aging in place’ forecasting a host of different scenarios about what that meant physically and psychologically," architect Alex Tedesco says. "We did ‘day in the life’ modeling to understand all the various barrier free requirements that might arise."

The majority of windows are on the south facade to optimize solar gain.

A deck is located off the dining area.

Master Bathroom

Inkstone wash-basins in Black Rock stone with Neos furniture, made from solid-walnut with Basaltina stone fronts (Neos furniture designed by Luca Martorano).

The living-dining room replete with a Wells sofa from Room and Board, occupies what was formerly a classroom.
