The headboard is a custom fabrication from a live oak felled on the property, made by DeVos Custom Woodworking and Jobe Fabrications and in collaboration with JCA. The headboard “brings so much texture and life into this tiny room,” says Corral. Custom steel shelves are poised below, with a sconce from Serena and Lily mounted atop.

In the primary bedroom, the leather headboard insert is from Citizenry, with a steel bed by Jobe Fabrications custom design in collaboration with JCA. The side tables are also a collaboration between Jobe Fabrications and JCA, with Hand and Eye Gooseberry pendant hanging above. The bedcover is by Vacilando Quilting.

Another light-filled space is the primary bedroom, where large picture windows frame captivating views of the surrounding forest and mountains beyond.

Lee Cline made the painting in the guestroom, which opens onto a new balcony.

A wallhanging adds texture above the bed, where a playful barbed-wire pillow sits atop boldly patterned bedding.

The Oswego Bed rests beside the Avers Nightstand, both by Hedge House. The couple wanted a low bed, “Just so the kids can do roly-polies through the house,” says Amber. The Cast Pendant light is by Thomas Chung & Jordan Murphy for Menu, and the linens are Cultiver.

The beds feature Bellino Fine Linens.

The primary suite has eastern-facing views, given that the owner wanted morning light.
