The contemporary, minimalist design is constructed almost entirely out of solid wood.

Lawler's mom wanted an all-white kitchen, and he delivered with Caesarstone countertops in Blizzard alongside Venice terrazzo tile from Concrete Collaborative. A Mags Sofa and 82 Armchairs from Hay sit in the living room.

The natural aged cedar exterior is protected by a steel roof.

In this model, the living area shares a wall with the primary suite. Minimalist details are also a hallmark of blend, including concrete flooring.

The Rancher 9 is about 1,700 square feet, and has a pre-designed floorplan that clients can customize.

Every Blend property features exposed glulam beams as an architectural feature that also supports eight-foot ceilings.

The owners requested many customizations to this home, including an extended island and plenty of vantage points to the views.

La Base also designed the bathroom’s modular hangers.

Movable slatted-wood panels allow Teresa and Nicolás to control the flow of light as well as the level of privacy from the nearby road. The space between the screen and home acts as a small deck.

The whole project comprised only three months of design, two months of production (some 90 percent of which was completed at a Buenos Aires factory), one day of assembly, and five days of adjustments. The structure consists of just four 9-foot-8-inch-by-19-foot-7-inch modules supported by a foundation plate. “If we want to move it, we can,” says Teresa. “We could get a crane and disassemble it and then reassemble it on the coast.”

Nicolás (above right) calls it “a magical enclave” overlooking Nahuel Huapi Lake. “It’s a panoramic viewpoint where we can watch what happens,” adds Teresa (above left).
