Lake Flato Architects extended the brick around the fireplace across the entire wall, then added a steel beam to be able to remove the columns and lift the ceiling height. Office of Tangible Space added a Sofa by De Sede, Rug by Beni Rugs, and chair by Shiro Kuramata for Cassina.

The guesthouse has similar built-ins and is outfitted with a reproduction rotating sconce by Serge Mouille and rugs by Stephanie Odegard.

The house is made of concrete and mahogany, two materials Wright relied on across his work.

A Room & Board sofa upholstered with olive-green velvet provides texture and color for the living area.

In the office, the table— a prototype they hope to put into production—was inspired by a Sol LeWitt work.

Many of the furnishings were custom designed and built by New Frontier Tiny Homes.

“Lighting design is really important. There is something about valance lighting that creates a feeling of expansiveness. Not only is it beautiful and sexy, but it kind of tricks the mind into a feeling of more space,” says Latimer.

Both the cabinets and wall panelling are done in birch plywood.
