Constructed in 1909, the building was named for its original occupants, The Free Methodist Publishing House, before it became the Museum of Holography, and was bought by the new owners in 2012. They tapped Nushu Architecture and contractor Vero Design + Build for a renovation of the structure to include 11 bedrooms, a capacious communal area, a kitchen, and a fully-equipped lounge.

The wood beams were in poor condition and needed to be cleaned up and treated with oil.

The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a large walk in closet.

The bedrooms were made to be as flexible as possible, while still feeling comfortable. The throw at the end of the bed is sourced from Zigzag Zurich.

The light-up pegs can also be docked in a wall in the bedroom and used as sconces.

The real gem is the master bedroom which features sliding doors that open to the expansive backyard—perfect for embracing indoor/outdoor living.

In addition to renovating the home's two bedrooms, Hannah and Michael added a new extension to house the master suite located in the back of the home with beautiful views of the pool.

A fresh coat of paint, a new light fixture, and updated decor make all the difference. Julia placed a West Elm Mod Upholstered bed set over a Loloi Rugs Porcia PB-07 rug from Hayneedle. The bedroom is adorned with a Motion Lines 3 print from Anthropologie and worn velvet curtains from West Elm.
