Olive-green Fireclay tile creates a spa-like experience in the bathroom and fluctuates in tone throughout the day.

The fireplace within the original brick surround roots the interiors to its site and its heritage. A giant sliding door leads to a deck, flush with the interior floor. Round skylights and a round ceiling light relate this space to the kitchen, with its oculus and amoeba-shaped island.

CNC-milled teak was used for almost all of the exterior, from the cladding and sunshades to the 430-square-foot exterior decks.

The serene bedroom includes a Design Within Reach bed, Circa Lighting sconces, and a throw from The Citizenry.

This open kitchen is fitted with black granite counters, a ceramic backsplash, and melamine cabinetry, which is a type of laminate.

The rear of the living room looks onto the landscaped atrium at the entrance, allowing the home to feel intimately connected to the outdoors.

With floor-to-ceiling glazing and post-and-beam construction, this Woodland Hills home looks and contemporary but still maintains its midcentury modern spirit.
