Steel king posts were used instead of wood, which helps to exaggerate the purlins' flight towards the exterior.

The custom kitchen cabinets are made of pale guatambú wood, also known as pau marfim.  The architects chose light hues for all interior and exterior surfaces to counter the dark green and brown colors of the forest.
