Living room

The living and dining room feature a wall of glass and a classic tongue-and-groove ceiling.

The residence has four bedrooms, all of which have been meticulously renovated.

The fireplace, which was relocated off the front facade, boasts a lovely hand-troweled plaster finish with understated texture.

The common areas are furnished with cozy, lived-in furniture.

Now, at the top of the stairs, the owners are met with a beautiful view to the mountains.

Now, built-in sofas line the perimeter of the room and utilize the room’s shape better.

The living room, dining room, and kitchen are distinct spaces while still being very open. “It was fun to come up with a slightly different approach to an open living concept,” Herrmann says. The artwork on the left is by Sonnenzimmer. The abstract on the right is by Ludovic Philippon, a painter in the South of France.

A music room was a must-have for the owners. “My wife plays piano an hour a day, and I like to play records,” the husband says. “The kids know this is mom and dad’s room.” The seating is by Blu Dot.
