Each family member worked remotely from the apartment. Alexandrine set up a study in a portion of the living area. Other work and study spots include the terraces, the dining and kitchen tables, and the desk in the second bedroom. They didn't settle into assigned spots, but rather moved around according to their mood.

Alexandrine discovered the 18th-century Italian painting at a local antique shop even though the paintwork required restoration. While transporting it back to the apartment, she noticed that the flip side was as beautiful as the front. Depending on the season and mood, sometimes she displays the front and sometimes she displays the back.
The upcycled Tasha ORO Solar lamp made from the remains from the Soviet car industry echoes the shapes in the Olga Fradina print in the primary bedroom. A hemp fur throw by DevoHome covers the bed a rustic Swiss cradle is a storage spot for books and magazines.

Alexandrine describes the second bedroom as "a functional space for a grown-up girl student." On the wall, prints by Olga Fradina are mixed with vintage graphics from the 1960s. A lamp from the 1970s sits atop a modern italian writing desk.
The other terrace also boasts a wicker chair, plus a mid-1960s table with a terrazzo top, both from the flea market in Lugano.
The family also used the terraces as living and work spaces. The vintage wicker furniture came from the local flea market.
