The Bestor Architecture team transformed the kitchen with a more open layout finished with a green zellige tile backsplash from Clé and a lavender laminate on the island. “It’s a color combination you don’t see every day,” admits Campbell. “But playing with jewel tones and a pastel and integrating a punchier, bright color at the banquette just felt right. We liked how they were in conversation with one another.”

The living room and both bedrooms face west with-facing floor-to-ceiling iron pane windows.

The guest home sits on the street, with the main home facing the sea.

“We never dreamed of a huge house,” says TK. “We always knew if we built something, it would be small, but unique.”

A 1970s white fiberglass plafond lamp, salvaged from a hotel lobby ceiling in Italy, anchors the primary bedroom. “It is one of my favorite pieces and one which I enjoy every day, since it’s the light that I leave on before I go to sleep,” says Roberta. The bed is by Ivano Redaelli.

Slightly elevated and with no decking, the pool is inspired by Ibiza’s old agricultural reservoirs.

The round aperture from the kitchen maintains its visibility and connection to the pool and outdoors.

The endless pool allows for athletic training and a place for lounging beyond the kitchen.

Most of the color in the primary suite comes from the greenery right outside.

A large veranda features bamboo wood flooring and a concrete ceiling, along with steel supports, all designed to weather the Spanish forest's four seasons.

Originally built by an Italian sculptor, the renovated residence features intricate plasterwork, a Juliet balcony, and a converted art studio.
