Now the room can be used for a variety of activities, from having a private phone call to visiting with a friend. "Right now, during COVID, it’s a puzzle room," says Catherine.

The architects removed the shutters and swapped in casement windows. Benjamin Moore Gray now coats the brick, and a metal roof protects the porch.
